Change is Inevitable—But So is Growth
Change used to feel so challenging for me, as I know it does for many. The resistance, the clinging to what was, the comfort of yesterday being pulled from your grasp. Why is this happening? Why can’t it go back to how it was?
But over time, I’ve learned that change isn’t just inevitable—it’s essential and innately woven into the fabric of life. Just as the moon fades in and out of its phases, the seasons change the landscape of the Earth, and just as technology, astrology, and collective dreams evolves culture and society - we are always reminded of the natural rhythms of life.
As we evolve into the next version of ourselves, we must let go of who we thought we were. Change forces us to outgrow old skins and release old identities and stories. Change is our greatest teacher.
I see life as one continuous flow of transformation—a dance between shedding and becoming. I’ve noticed this rhythm within myself. 2024 has been a year of health and vitality, a quieter focus compared to my past years of building and creating. Now, I feel my focus shifting towards community and service—and it’s profound to witness these transitions unfold and honestly, it requires a lot of patience, reflection, and a surrender to the unknown.
So how are you preparing for the shifts ahead? Let us gain clarity as we reflect, celebrate, and integrate the lessons of the past year.
Reflecting with the Wheel of Life
I often turn to the Wheel of Life—a tool for seeing the many energies that shape our experience. Think of life like a stove with multiple burners: one or two pots are actively cooking (your main focus), while others stay warm on the back burner. But none can go cold entirely—we must tend to all areas, even if some require more attention in this season of life.
To guide your review of 2024, I offer reflective questions while you reflect on at all areas of your Wheel of Life:
Where did I spend most of my time, energy, and resources this year?
What area of life went to the front burner, and what went to a back burner?
What moments of growth, joy, or challenge stand out?
What shifted and evolved?
What am I celebrating?
What lessons did I learn?
What habits did I cultivate, and which fell away?
What needs to change or improve moving forward?
2025: Not Just a Year—It's A New Era
I'm increasingly beginning to experience the New Year not just as another turn of the calendar—but as an incoming energy, a new chapter in humanity’s story.
Astrologically, so much is happening. Pluto has entered Aquarius. Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus will all shift into new signs next year—a rare astrological moment that only happens once every few decades. The North Node is also resetting at 0° Aries in 2025.
